Bareilly: Vishwakarma Puja was celebrated at the engineering and medical institutions of Shri Ram Murti Smarak Trust on Thursday, September 17, 2026. The workshops across the institutions were decorated with flowers, while machines, tools and equipment were worshipped during the traditional ceremony.
At Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering and Technology, the puja began at 9 am in the college workshop and was inaugurated by Chairman Dev Murti. A havan and puja were performed following the garlanding of Lord Vishwakarma’s idol. Students from the Mechanical Engineering department and medical students participated enthusiastically.
Principal Dr Prabhakar Gupta, Dean Academics Dr Shailesh Saxena, Director Training and Placement Dr Anuj Kumar, Vice Principal Dr Ritu Singh and other faculty members attended the programme.
At Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences, Director Aditya Murti performed the puja and havan and worshipped various machines and equipment. Principal Dr M.S. Butola, Medical Superintendent Dr R.P. Singh, faculty members and students were present.
